Our Collection
Our fine jewellery celebrates the artisanship of timeless meaningfully symbols from all across Africa, that our ancestors etched in our Motherland, leaving us the beauty of our cultures and a reminder of who we are. Our first collection has been purposefully designed by the founder of Yaa Asamoah, emphasising Ghanaian Adinkra symbols that speaks a thousand words to our souls.
Our Materials
Our Jewellery are made from 925 sterling silver, stainless steel, and titanium then ove-rlayed with 18k gold vermeil (pronounced Vehr-may) and 18k gold plated. Gold Vermeil is a high quality type of gold-plating, its base material is either sterling silver which is then coated with a super thick layer of gold plating for long-lasting colour and shine. Our partners in India,Thailand and China are making their difference by only producing gold-filled thereby extending the life of jewellery and reducing our ecological footprint as consumers.
Our Gemstones
We pride ourselves on the quality and beauty of our semi precious gemstones used in all our jewellery collections. Most of our semi-precious gemstones natural and AAA grade giving the best shine, reflection and considered the rarest and most valuable. Each precious gemstone used has been carefully selected and has beautiful meaning, for instance Amethyst calms the emotions, encourages clarity of thought, and assists in attaining wisdom.
