a global charity that empowers girls and boys in Ghana with vital IT computers skills.jpg

In Ghana, we recognize a vast reservoir of untapped talent, and their mission is to unlock its potential. Working closely with local schools, they cultivate digital talents and facilitate their integration into meaningful employment. Their focus lies on empowering young individuals, equipping them with essential digital and soft skills from an early stage.

Their goal is to drive meaningful and sustainable job creation in Ghana through education, particularly for marginalised groups like young women in rural areas who lack access to higher education.

In spite of abundant theoretical job opportunities, practical challenges persist, requiring a qualified workforce with the right mindset and digital competency. Their entrepreneurial experience in Ghana led them to design a curriculum focusing on critical skills needed by future employees.

The organization empowers individuals and facilitates positive change through innovative methods, such as experimental coding and gamification.

clean drinking water pouring through black female hands.jpg

Numerous women and children in rural Ghana and Kenya trek long distances in search of water. This quest leads to missed school for children and wasted time for women. Solar-powered water kiosks offer this solution by bringing clean water to the surface, ensuring that women and children lead healthier and happier lives.

The goal of Project Majis is to bring solar powered water stations to areas in Ghana and Kenya that often don't receive attention from larger NGOs or local authorities due to their sparse populations. By setting up these Maji stations in the heart of these communities, we can significantly reduce the time it takes to collect water by 90% leading to a decrease in water related illnesses like diarrhoea, as evidenced by our impact assessments.

This endeavour aims to offer 3,000 individuals access to water, which will result in better health and increased economic prospects, particularly for women. Our stations are equipped with remote monitoring technologies for performance checks, ensuring operation. The modest water fees collected through payments are set aside for maintenance purposes, guaranteeing that communities can sustain themselves and have access to water in the long term.
